Camp Beddown

Camp Beddown

Unity (C#)

A testing tool for the CAF

For this project, the engineering students came to us, requesting a tool that could decrease the time cost of their testing. The students were required to use SketchFab to create the map, and all of the symbols. This led to inconsistensies with the measurements (which needed to be presice) and having to draw out all of their symbols, the test could take upwards of a week.

Our solution to this was project Camp Beddown, which aimed to allow users to place pre-made symbols like a stamp, and give them a dynamic arsenal of tools, that allowed them to be precise, at the click of a button. These tools included an integrated measurement tool, an alignment tool, and an array tool that could let them spawn a grid of any specified symbol, with the user supplied spacing.
