Tactics Fusion
Typescript with NodeJS (BabylonJS, Colyseus, Webpack)
A training tool for the CAF
The idea behind this tool was to allow students to be provided a map with a fictional scenario, and task them with coming up with a COA (Course of Action). The students originally were doing a similar task, but the maps were physical, and their plans were on layers of talk sheet.
These students would be able to collaborate over a network, enabling them to work more effectively, as they can see what other people are doing as live updates, with built-in layer systems so they can hide/lock each layer as though it was the talk sheet they were used to.
This project became very large, and desired within the CAF, and while I got hit with a layoff before the project had gotten to launch, I know that the team I was working with has several interested parties awaiting the final build (with plans to take the project, and make new work requests to expand this application even further)
